Trip to Macau, China (Part 9): Portuguese Cuisine at Escada (Updated April 2020)

Today’s highlight is Portuguese cuisine.

A bit lighter and easier to drink compared to Japanese beer.

◼️ Portuguese-Style Steak

Price: 178 MOP
The (butter?) sauce was smooth and mild!
Although it’s different from Chinese cuisine, it's also not exactly Western-style. It has a subtle, unique flavor that really suits the Japanese palate.

◼️ Duck Rice

Price: 178 MOP
Different from the one I had a few days ago, but still delicious!
It might be a bit richer in flavor compared to the Gosto-style duck rice.

◼️ Pudding

Price: 45 MOP
A straightforward, tasty dessert.

（バター）ソース（？）がまろやか！ほんと、中華とは違いますが、完全洋食ともちがい微妙なエッセンスが日本人にあう料理かも。

品名：ダックライス

価格：１７８パタカ

先日食べたものとも違っておりましたが、やはりおいしい！！ゴスト風より若干濃いめかも・・・・

普通にデザートとしておいしい

The aroma of the spices matches the minced pork and rice perfectly. It resembles gapao rice but has a unique flavor!

Dish name: Gost Baked Duck Rice

Price: 188 Patacas

The richness of the previous dish made this one seem a bit lacking at first, but as you continue eating, the flavor of the meat mixed under the rice becomes irresistible, making it a delightful Portuguese dish.
