It was an exhibition that I didn't understand very much, but my companion was satisfied, so it must have been a fascinating exhibition.

One thing I learned was the trench coat! It is said that this was developed as clothing for military personnel going to war. There is a lot of history in one piece of clothing.

Also, there was an exhibition of expressions such as clothes as a means of expressing or hiding one's original appearance. (I was shocked to see a person who seems to be an ordinary office lady transforming into a punk rocker.) The building of the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto was recently renovated, and the building was beautiful and fashionable, and I felt like agar.

本日は近代美術館にて１０・１～１１・５まで開催のドレス展に行ってまいりました。
久々の京都！に

そして、服がいっ～ぱい
私には、あまり理解のできない展覧会でしたが連れは満足げだったので、十分魅力的な展覧会だったのでしょう。

一つ勉強になったのが、トレンチコート！
これは、戦争にいく軍人さんへの服装として発展していったとの事。
なかなか、服一つとっても色々歴史があるのですなあ～

あと、服とは自分本来の姿を表現する、又は隠す手段だというような表現の展示がありました。
（普段普通のOLさんらしき人が、パンクロッカーに変身Ｓている姿に衝撃をうけました）

京都近代美術館は、最近改修されたのか建物もきれいでオシャレになっており、気分もアガル～感じでした。
