◆ UAE Pavilion (United Arab Emirates)

The UAE Pavilion immediately catches the eye with its futuristic architecture. The design blends the curves of desert dunes with sleek modernity—truly a work of art.

Inside, visitors are treated to interactive exhibits showcasing the UAE’s rich history, cultural heritage, and cutting-edge developments in cities like Dubai. Especially impressive are the floating holograms and wind-powered visual energy displays—spectacles that captivate the senses!

Carefully curated for all ages, the pavilion provides a glimpse into “future living” while conveying the UAE’s core values of sustainability and innovation.






◆ Brazil Pavilion

Filled with vibrant rhythms and colorful décor, the Brazil Pavilion feels like a mini Rio Carnival bursting with energy!

The pavilion’s theme centers on the Amazon and Brazil’s diverse multicultural heritage. A full sensory experience awaits—through immersive visuals, music, and even aromas. The highlight is a virtual canoe ride down the Amazon River, offering a breathtaking, immersive journey that will leave you in awe.

Be sure to stop by the café for authentic snacks like pastéis (crispy fried pies) and refreshing açaí bowls—a delicious taste of Brazil.

The Peru Pavilion uniquely blends the mystical charm of the Inca civilization with contemporary art.





◆ Night Sky Illumination Show

One experience you simply can’t miss at night is the Night Sky Illumination Show.

Held in the southern Water Area of the expo site, this spectacle combines music, laser lights, and synchronized drone displays. Themes such as Earth, space, and the future are expressed through breathtaking imagery projected across the night sky.

[Osaka, Namba] A Farewell Visit to "Misono Building" — A Cultural Landmark of the Showa Era

This iconic spot, loved by generations, is sadly closing its doors in spring 2025. I visited just before its closure to experience its unique atmosphere one last time. ◆ What is the Misono Building? Located in Namba, Osaka, the Misono Building first opened in 1956 as a lavish banquet hall and cabaret. Over the decades, it transformed into a maze-like hub of underground and subculture scenes, becoming a beloved cultural melting pot. From the outside, the building radiates vintage Showa-era charm.  こんにちは！バオムプロジェクトです。 今回は2025年に開催される「大阪・関西万博」の中でも、特に注目したい３つの海外パビリオンと、夜を彩る「星空光のショー」について、たっぷりとご紹介します！ ◆ アラブ首長国連邦館（UAE Pavilion） 未来都市のような外観がまず目を惹くUAE館。建築デザインは、砂漠の砂丘と現代建築を融合させたような曲線美が印象的。 館内では、UAEの歴史や文化、近未来型都市「ドバイ」の発展、再生可能エネルギー技術などがインタラクティブに紹介されています。特に、空中に浮かぶホログラムや、風を使ってエネルギーを可視化する体験型展示は圧巻です！ 子どもから大人まで楽しめるように工夫されており、「未来の暮らし」を体験しながら、UAEの哲学である「持続可能性」と「革新」を感じることができました。 ◆ ブラジル館（Brazil Pavilion） 陽気なリズムと色鮮やかな装飾が特徴のブラジル館は、まるでリオのカーニバルを凝縮したような活気に満ちた空間！ アマゾンの自然と多民族文化をテーマに、映像・音楽・香りを駆使した五感体験型の演出が魅力です。中でも、バーチャルツアーでアマゾン川をカヌーで下るような映像体験は、思わず息を呑むほどの没入感！ また、カフェスペースでは本場の「パステル（揚げパイ）」や「アサイーボウル」も楽しめるのも嬉しいポイントです。 ◆ ペルー館（Peru Pavilion） ペルー館は、インカ文明の神秘と現代アートが融合したユニークなパビリオン。 ◆ 星空光のショー（Night Sky Illumination Show） 夜の万博会場で絶対に見逃せないのが、この「星空光のショー」。 南のウォーターエリアでは、音楽とレーザー、そしてドローンによる演出が繰り広げられます。地球、宇宙、未来といったテーマが交錯し、夜空に巨大な映像が描かれる様子はまさに幻想的。 特に感動したのが、観客の頭上を、星が降るように光が包み込んでいく瞬間。家族連れもカップルも思わずうっとりしてしまう、特別な時間でした。 ◆ まとめ 2025年の大阪万博は、まさに世界中の文化と技術の祭典。今回ご紹介したUAE館、ブラジル館、ペルー館はどれも特色があり、何度でも訪れたくなる魅力があります。 そして夜には「星空光のショー」で一日...
