Trip to Macau, China (Part 8) – The Ruins of St. Paul’s and Mount Fortress (Updated April 2020)
Good evening!
Today, I’m sharing about the Ruins of St. Paul’s and Mount Fortress.
Here’s a famous egg tart shop.
This area reminds you of the streets from the Portuguese colonial era.
Cobblestone streets... and is that a shrimp?!
It feels almost ironic that the famous Grand Lisboa Macau stands right in the line of sight from the old fortress cannons.
Across the river from the fortress—is that mainland China?
The view is truly vast and impressive.
The Ruins of St. Paul’s
(There’s a rumor that Tokugawa Ieyasu is carved on it with a demonic face...)
And here’s the view of Grand Lisboa Macau from the ruins.
So many tourists gathered below!
