Hawaii's endlessly beautiful Waikiki Beach (Updated August 2017)

 Hello,

This time, I’d like to share about my trip to Hawaii in April 2014.
(This is an update from August 2017.)

The photo shows Waikiki Beach, taken from our hotel room.

The ocean was a deep blue, and the whole atmosphere was very peaceful.

We stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki (located on the far right when facing the ocean), using a JTB tour package.

We splurged a bit and reserved an Oceanfront room

!

If you book a lower grade room, you may end up only seeing the neighboring hotel or be placed on a lower floor with no view.

There was also a poolside lunch (more like a snack buffet—with unlimited yakisoba, rice balls, etc.)!
As expected of JTB, they had even set up a special tent for it.

In the evening, they offered free-flow snacks and alcohol, including beer.

We really made the most of it, enjoying everything from our mid-level floor room.
These kinds of popular tourist spots among Japanese people can be a bit pricey, but…

I realized that using a major travel agency like JTB actually saves money and effort in the long run.
Coming from someone who used to specialize in budget travel, that was quite a realization.

We spent most of our time at the hotel pool, which was directly connected to the beach—
so we could come and go from our room in swimwear. It was incredibly convenient.

And here’s a photo of an energy drink!
They say the American formula is different from the Japanese one, and supposedly gives you more of a boost...??

Journey to Turkey 1５(【Turkey Travelogue】Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque) – A Majestic Encounter with the World of Blue in Istanbul）

Today, I’d like to introduce one of Istanbul’s most iconic landmarks — the Blue Mosque, officially known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque.

Let me share my unforgettable experience inside this stunning and sacred place.

◆ What is the Blue Mosque?

Built in the early 17th century by Sultan Ahmed I of the Ottoman Empire, the Blue Mosque is a grand structure that combines religious significance with architectural beauty.

Though its official name is Sultan Ahmed Mosque, it’s famously known as the Blue Mosque due to the exquisite blue Iznik tiles that decorate its interior.

It’s still an active place of worship, but also a top tourist destination just a short walk from the Hagia Sophia.

◆ A Breathtaking Exterior

The first thing that strikes you is the elegant and majestic appearance of the mosque.

With six minarets and a cascading series of domes, the Blue Mosque is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. Its silhouette against the sky is particularly stunning at sunset — truly a sight to behold.

◆ The “Blue World” Inside

Step inside and you’ll find yourself immersed in a magical world of blue.

Over 20,000 Iznik tiles cover the walls and ceilings, displaying delicate floral and geometric designs in soft shades of blue. Sunlight filtering through the stained-glass windows adds a dreamlike atmosphere.

A large chandelier hangs low over the central prayer space, drawing your gaze upward and inviting quiet reflection. The entire interior offers a peaceful and almost otherworldly sense of calm.

◆ Tips for Visitors

• Free admission (as it is a functioning mosque)

• Check prayer times before visiting
  Tourists may be asked to wait during prayer sessions.

• Modest dress is required
  Women should wear a headscarf (loaners available at the entrance).

• Photography is allowed (but avoid flash)

◆ Final Thoughts

The Blue Mosque is more than just a religious site — it’s a work of art and a place of serenity.
Standing within its cool, quiet halls, you can’t help but feel a deep sense of peace and awe.

It’s a must-visit location in Istanbul, especially when paired with the Hagia Sophia nearby, where you can experience the rich cultural intersection of Christianity and Islam.

ハワイのどこまでも美しいワイキキビーチ（２０１７・８更新分）

こんにちは

今回は平成２６年４月に訪れたハワイです
（２０１７・８更新分）

写真はホテルから撮影したワイキキビーチです。

青々としてのどかでした

泊まったホテルはシェラトンワイキキ（海に向かって右端）でJTBツアーを利用。

ホテル部屋クラスは奮発しオーシャンフロントで予約！

それよりダウングレードしますと隣のホテルしか見えなくなったり、低層階層になったりします。

また、プールサイドでの昼食（おやつ程度-焼きそばやらｵﾆｷﾞﾘやらが食べ放題）！

と・・・・・さすがわＪＴＢ！特設テントも設けていました。

また、夕方は、スナックなどとﾋﾞｰﾙなどお酒が飲み放題のサービス

（ホテル中層階）など満喫いたしました。やはり、こういった日本人がよくいく観光スポットは、少し費用はかかりますが。。。。。

大手旅行代理店のサービスが、かえってお金と労力をかけない旅になるんだなあ～と、元貧乏旅行専門の自身が感じました。

写真のホテルのプールでほとんど過ごしていましたが、海と直結しておりましたので部屋から海パンすがたで出入りでき、とても便利でした。

サイドファイアーＤＩＹ

 おはようございます。

現在サイドファイアーを目指して日々投資にいそしんでいる中年サラリーマンですが皆様如何お過ごしでしょうか？

今回お話するのは投資銘柄選定に関する区確定要素についてです

我々は常々不確定な未来への対応について過去の経験則から取捨選択しながら行動を選択しております。

それは投資についても同様で、先物より株のほうが安全だ、いや預金のほうがいい、いや銀行も安心できないからタンス預金がベストだ等々。

安全を追求したらきりがありません。

しかしリスクをとるのは怖い。

そこで私はリスクの多い投資を資産の１％未満で実施するよう努めています。

これはリスク投資をむやみに怖がらない態勢をつけることと、損害の額の確定を同時にするためです。

なぜ損害を不必要にするのかというと、わずかな投資経験ですがそこから損をするマインドやパターンを身に着けることと忘れないようにすることが、確実な収益獲得に必要不可欠なことだと身に染みて感じているからです。

３年前にはずかいはなしですが（ここでもかきましたが）太陽光発電投資に騙されてしまいました。

その手口は巧妙で、一見誰も失敗しない年数パーセント利益を得られるビジネスのように感じさせられました。

しかし結果、メール一本で「会社は倒産しました。みんな頑張ってね！」の一言だけ( ﾟДﾟ)

まああっけないもので。後々考えるといわゆる「ポンジスキーム」で収益を獲得できるぞ！！という段階で、破綻するシステムだったようです。

この経験から私は、（前から理解はしていましたが再度）絶対安定や、健康でエコ・地球に優しいを表題にしたビジネスは信じないことに決めました。

まあ考えれば当たり前で、他人や企業に健康やエコを任せて満足しているほうが間違いで、自分でコツコツやるもんだと反省致しました。

これでしばらくはこういった詐欺まがいの手口にはだまされないと思います。

ただ、リスクは人間の住む世界にはたくさんあります。

それらに出くわし重傷をおわないよう、またあわよくば一攫千金掘り当てれるようリスク商品への投資は続けていきたいと考えております。

トルコへの旅１５（トルコへの旅 イスタンブール 【トルコ旅行記】ブルーモスク（スルタンアフメト・モスク）〜イスタンブールで出会う荘厳な青の世界〜）

今回はトルコ・イスタンブールの象徴ともいえる名所、「ブルーモスク（正式名称：スルタンアフメト・モスク）」をご紹介します。

その美しさと神聖さに、思わず心を奪われた感動の体験をレポートします！

◆ ブルーモスクとは？

ブルーモスクは、オスマン帝国第14代スルタン・アフメト1世によって、17世紀初頭に建てられた壮大なモスクです。正式名称は「スルタンアフメト・モスク」ですが、内装に使用された青いイズニックタイルの美しさから「ブルーモスク」という愛称で世界中に知られています。

現役のモスクでありながら、世界中から観光客が訪れる大人気スポット。アヤソフィアからもすぐ近くに位置しています。

◆ 外観の美しさと迫力

外から見たブルーモスクは、とにかく優雅で荘厳。

6本のミナレット（尖塔）を備えたその姿は、オスマン建築の傑作といえる美しさ。中央ドームと半円状のサブドームが重なり合う設計は、まるで空に浮かぶような優雅さです。

白い石造りの壁に映える青空、そして夕暮れ時のシルエットもまた格別で、写真に収めずにはいられません！

◆ 内部に広がる「青の世界」

中に足を踏み入れると、そこにはまさに「青の神殿」と呼ぶにふさわしい空間が広がっています。

天井から壁一面にかけて張り巡らされた2万枚以上のイズニックタイルが、やわらかな青を基調とした植物や幾何学模様で彩られており、光が差し込むたびに神秘的な輝きを放ちます。

中央の礼拝スペースには、美しいシャンデリアが低く吊り下げられ、訪れる人々の視線を自然と上に導いていきます。

この空間に立つと、自然と呼吸が深くなり、心が静かに整っていくような不思議な感覚を味わいました。

◆ 観光のポイント

• 入場無料（モスクとして開放）

• 訪問前に礼拝時間を確認するのがおすすめ
  観光客は礼拝中は入場制限されることがあります。

• 服装に注意
  女性はスカーフ着用が必須。入口で貸し出しもあります。

• 写真撮影OK（ただしフラッシュは控えましょう）

◆ まとめ

ブルーモスクは、宗教施設でありながら、アートとしても圧倒的な完成度を誇る場所。
その空間に流れる静けさ、美しさ、厳かさは、どこか日常を忘れさせてくれるようでした。

イスタンブールに訪れるなら、絶対に外せない感動スポットです。
アヤソフィアとセットで回ることで、キリスト教とイスラム教、二つの文化の共存も感じられる貴重な体験になります。

先週の株価・為替相場について

 おはようございます

先週は日経平均は５１，０００円台ＮＹダウも４７，０００ドル台で終了いたしました。

個人的には、本邦のＳ株について一部の株価が下落したため追加購入を行いました。

さらに一部の企業から配当金が入金されました。

本邦では卸売関連企業の株価が急騰、収益獲得ラインに到達し収益ラインを超えたので取引目安単価の切り上げを行いました。

また卸売・金融関連企業の配当が無事入金されました。

米国では欧州株式ETFを計画的に若干の購入を行いました。

また自動車関連企業の配当が無事入金されました。

韓国では金融関連企業の配当が無事入金されました。

ブラジル（ＡＤＲ）では資源関連企業の配当が無事入金されました。

クラウドファンディングでは無事一時金と償還金が入金され、さらに年率３％程度の商品を新規購入いたしました。

為替においてはオージードル円が上昇収益確定ラインに到達したため若干ポジションの解消を行い収益を計上する事ができました。

１２月中旬には日銀とＦＲＢが各々利上げと利下げを実施する可能性が大きくなってまいりました。

ただ、それによる影響はほとんど市場に織り込まれたのか、為替はあまりうごかなかった印象です。

皆様も、そろそろボラティリティーが高い時期に突入してきますのでお気をつけてトレードしてください。
