Today, I’d like to introduce the authentic sushi from Daiki Suisan—specifically, their premium Honmaguro Kama Toro (fatty tuna collar). Although this is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, the quality of the ingredients is far superior to your typical 100-yen sushi chains.
The location can be a bit tricky to find, but if you walk about 4-5 minutes from the underground entrance of Hanshin Department Store toward the Rainbow Plaza, you’ll spot it on the left-hand side.
Despite the ongoing COVID-19 situation, I was expecting the restaurant to be less crowded, but it was actually bustling with customers, and there was even a line.
As soon as I put the sushi in my mouth, the fatty tuna melted on my tongue, releasing its rich flavor.

Since my last visit, they’ve added convenient features like a tablet for ordering and a special lane for delivering orders directly to your table. While it feels like they’re catering more to the general public now, the quality of the food remains excellent. I highly recommend giving it a try!
